Our world is unwell, and people are in serious need of some comedic treatment. That’s what you’ll get from Bülent Ceylan’s new program, KRONK, as the people of Mannheim pronounce ‘krank,’ the German word for sick. There are truly ailing bodies and souls, but Bülent Ceylan focuses on ‘sick’ everyday situations as he delivers double doses of humor straight to our living rooms. In his usual manner, he examines carefully, diagnoses like a pro and prescribes the best cure there is: a hearty laugh.

The show takes a close look at ailments like the current xenophobia epidemic, hard-to-miss cases of heartlessness and spinelessness, and even takes a knife to some severely swollen egos!

As always, Bülent Ceylan uses clear language to present a healthy mix of serious observations, imaginative and humorous diagnoses, as well as various treatment options that promise the best chance of recovery. And if, in the end, a patient complains about pain, it’s usually just a sore belly or diaphragm. This is the type of treatment to which every patient responds immediately!
