Promi Shopping Queen

Actress Janine Kunze, singer Sarah Lombardi and professional dancer Motsi Mabuse are taking on an all-new experiment in the docusoap “Promi Shopping Queen:” Guido Maria Kretschmer first announces the theme, “Over and under – Visibly sexy lingerie” then hands each female celebrity a personal fashion bag. “I’ve hidden unique clues in these bags, specially tailored for each contestant. These could be small items the ladies may use in building their final outfits, and things that hint at the required style. Each celebrity contestant then takes her bag along on her shopping trip,” Guido explains.

This means tougher conditions for this round of “Promi Shopping Queen:” The female stars not only have to keep an eye on the time and their budgets, but also keep Guido’s clues in mind. A complete outfit focusing on sexy lingerie has to be put together in under 4 hours and cannot cost more than 500 Euros.

Something else is new in “Promi Shopping Queen – Fashion Bag:” Each contestant starts out shopping in her hometown. The women all meet up for the first time in Berlin, where they watch video clips from and comment on those shopping adventures. The next “Promi Shopping Queen,” who wins 3000 for a charity of her choice, will be announced on Sunday, May 28, at 8:15 PM.
The evening edition of this docusoap has become very popular: The show achieves ratings upwards of 9% among the target audience.
