A restaurant kitchen is filled with emotions and intensity. It’s a place where people express their creativity and work together as a team. It’s also where they argue and yell at each other when nerves are on edge. Time pressure and the need to deliver perfection day in and day out are palpable.

After scoring big with ‘Efialtis stin Kouzina’ (Kitchen Nightmares) in Greece, celebrity chef Hector Botrini now faces the biggest challenge of his life: He’s offering culinary apprenticeships with him to 12 young, unemployed Greeks – and a chance to land a job in Hector’s new Athens restaurant. But he hires only the very best!

For now, the restaurant is nothing but a ruin. Hector is overseeing the building’s construction in addition to teaching his potential new employees. There are only 12 weeks left to find out which of the young hopefuls are the right ones for his new restaurant. The celebrity chefs knows: you have to try very hard, keep an open mind and approach people without prejudice in order to discover hidden talents where you wouldn’t necessarily expect them. Someone without sufficient professional training can still learn and grow, thanks to talent, determination and passion. It’s all about being given a chance!
