Peace, charity and solidarity - especially in difficult times. The Passion story unites these values and has fascinated audiences for over 2000 years. Now Jesus Christ is brought back to life: this time, however, he wakes up in the present day - accompanied by real pop songs. A modern and unusual portrayal of the last days in the life of Jesus Christ will be staged by RTL in "The Passion" with a line-up of well-known stars from the singing and acting scene.
This year's venue is the documenta city of Kassel, where the last days in the life of Jesus of Nazareth will once again be staged on an impressive stage and transported into the present. The German actor, author and environmental activist Hannes Jaenicke takes on the role of narrator in this spectacular production and guides the audience live through the gripping Easter story.
